Drying Equipment in Place
SERVPRO of Scottsdale was called in to help after this home had been flooded. The technicians arrived quickly to assess and quickly get started on the drying process. Water can not evaporate on its own in excess so we use professional drying equipment to remove the water quickly and effectively to prevent secondary damage.
Damage that happens after the initial damage is considered secondary, i.e., mold growth. The evaporation process of water is too slow and mold can quickly grow if not addressed. Adding air movement and dehumidification quickens the evaporation of the left-over water. Without the water, the mold will not be able to grow assuring that there is no secondary damage.
